Getting started

Watchdog keeps an eye on wallets, price feeds, your credit balance and FTSO providers and alerts you on the channels you choose.

Your first watch in five steps

  1. Sign in with your wallet and open Wallet Center → Watchdog. The page has three tabs: Your watches, Notification channels and Alert history.
  2. Open Notification channels and choose Add recipient. Pick a channel, for example Telegram, e-mail or Discord, give the recipient a name and follow the steps shown. The steps for every channel are in Recipients and routing.
  3. Press Send test on the new recipient. The test message should arrive within a few seconds. Webhook recipients become active only after a successful test, e-mail only after you confirm the address, and Discord only after the verification on our server.
  4. Switch to Your watches and choose New watch. The editor has six sections: 1. Choose a type, 2. What to monitor, 3. Signals, 4. Recipients, 5. Message (optional) and 6. Summary. The defaults are a good start, and Watch types helps you pick the right type.
  5. Check the summary and save. Paid watch types need a free slot. If none is left, the editor tells you, and you can buy slots or start the free trial first; see Slots and pricing.

What happens after saving

The Watchdog checks all active watches about once a minute. When a signal fires, the alert is first saved in the Alert history and then delivered to the recipients of that watch. If a channel fails, the history shows that too, so no alert disappears silently.

Many signals also send a recovery notice when the condition is back to normal. You switch that per signal in section 3. Signals. How signals, consecutive rounds and recovery work is explained in Signals.

Without any recipient, alerts still reach the notification bell on ftso.app. For alerts on your phone, add Telegram, Discord or e-mail.

What does it cost?

Most watch types occupy one slot. You buy slots with credits for 30 days at a time; longer terms and larger quantities get a discount. Watches on your own credit balance are free up to a limit. Provider FSP monitoring uses its own provider slot.

Every wallet can try one standard watch for 3 days for free, once. Prices, discounts and an example calculation are on Slots and pricing.

Where to find what

  • Your watches: create, edit, pause and delete watches, search and filter them, and see your slots and credit balance.
  • Notification channels: your recipients, the switch for alerts in the notification bell, the message format with the notification language, and quiet hours.
  • Alert history: every alert with its delivery result per recipient, filters, CSV export and deletion.
  • Account Settings → API access: the tokens that scripts and AI agents use, and where you revoke them; see API and agents.

If something does not work

Start with the frequently asked questions. They cover missing alerts, unreachable recipients, quiet hours and expired slots, and each answer tells you where to look next.
