Converting to FBEST
Request a conversion of mature earned credits and claim approved FBEST with your wallet.
Last updated: Oct 3, 2026The conversion feature accepts eligible earned credits, not purchased credits or their bonus. It is separate from claiming network rewards. A request reserves credits; approval creates a claim authorization; your own wallet sends the transaction to the ConversionVault. There is no automatic FBEST payout from the application.
- Open Balance and find Convert earned credits to FBEST.
- Check Convertible now. Only still-held earned grants past their hold period count.
- Compare that amount with the minimum and the wallet’s remaining monthly allowance. The page explains a shortfall rather than making immature credits available.
- Make sure there is no open conversion request. Only one open request per wallet is allowed.
The global monthly budget is another limit shared by all wallets. An exhausted budget refuses a new request; it does not queue it for automatic processing next month. Limits use UTC calendar months. Purchased credits cannot be used to fill a conversion shortfall.
- Enter Earned credits to convert and review the approximate FBEST amount.
- Read the conversion terms and accept the version displayed beside the checkbox.
- Press Request conversion. The server fixes the FBEST quote and deducts the reserved credits from your spendable earned balance.
- Check Waiting for approval and the validity deadline in the conversion history.
The quote uses the FBEST price source used by topups, without the purchase bonus, and applies the configured deduction. The quote deadline starts when you request, not when an admin approves. A delayed review therefore reduces the time left to claim. There is no promised review turnaround.
- When the request is Ready to claim, connect the same wallet used for the request and switch to Flare if necessary.
- Check the deadline and any Vault status message.
- Press Claim FBEST and confirm the ConversionVault transaction in your wallet. Keep FLR available for gas.
- Keep the transaction hash. The worker marks the request Paid after checking the Vault; a sent wallet transaction alone is not that status transition.
The authorization is for the requesting wallet and the fixed amount. Approval does not transfer FBEST by itself, and there is no option to redirect the payout to another wallet. After a successful claim, the conversion is not reversed by an off-chain credit correction.
The Vault has an on-chain per-claim maximum, a daily cap and an available FBEST balance. These are distinct from the application’s monthly credit limits. The request path checks the per-claim maximum and pause state when the live read is available; the claim UI checks pause, remaining daily capacity and available balance when those values can be read.
A pause, exhausted daily cap or low Vault balance can prevent claiming even after approval. A temporary block does not extend the authorization deadline. For the daily cap, try again in the next UTC day if the authorization is still valid; for insufficient balance, wait for a refill. Actual contract limits apply to the wallet transaction even if a live UI read is unavailable.
An unsigned request still waiting for approval can be Rejected with a reason and its credits returned. Once approval has started or a valid claim authorization may exist, the system cannot safely reject it: the Vault has no signature-revocation path.
If the deadline passes unclaimed, maintenance can mark the request Expired and return the credits. For a claimable request, it first checks the chain to avoid returning credits for FBEST already claimed; a failed chain check can delay the status update. Returned credits are earned and already mature, not a new purchased balance. A new request needs a new quote.
Waiting for approval means the credits are reserved and review is pending. Ready to claim means approval has started; a claim button requires the actual authorization to be available. Paid means the worker has confirmed the Vault claim. Rejected and Expired indicate a completed return path, not an on-chain FBEST refund.
Use Activity to find the matching reservation or returned-credit entry. For why the button is unavailable, see Conversion FAQ.
